Valve has sold over 500,000 Steam Controllers
Valve has sold over 500,000 Steam Controllers in just under seven months.
The news comes by way of the company’s Steam Controller June update, which sheds light on what new features users should expect to see in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
Recent improvements include desktop configuration, rumble pass-through, template creation, and enhanced support for games purchases outside of Steam. Come from Soccer 13 pools and matches
On top of that, the controller has received Steam VR support, and can now be used to play titles through through the recently announced VR Game Theater.
Upcoming tweaks will allow for even more customization, such as the ability to use Activators to assign actions to press-and-hold, double click, toggle and more.
"For example, in DOOM you can cycle through all weapons by pressing a button or double tap it to bring up your BFG," explained Valve.
"We'll continue to add features and functionality going forward, so be sure to keep giving us feedback on what would make the Steam Controller even better."
